Following up with a potential client is a great form of marketing, because the more potential clients you get in front of, and the more often, the more sales you’ll make. 

There was a time I was scared of this form of marketing, because I used to tell myself a false story:

  • I’ve given people the information
  • So if they wanted to buy, they would’ve already done so
  • So if they haven’t contacted me, it must be because they’re not interested
  • So if I follow up with them, I’ll be annoying them

Now, though, I realise that people appreciate follow-up calls and emails, and that often they don’t buy due to a lack of time rather than a lack of interest.

So now I do more follow-up marketing. And that means I make more sales.
