I regularly send emails and texts to clients – not about work, but just to keep up with them, because many of them have become friends.
And sometimes these client-friends will respond to my messages by asking if my content marketing agency, Hunter & Scribe, can do a job for them.
Why? I’ve always assumed it’s because:
- They’ve had a content problem they’ve been meaning to solve
- But they haven’t yet addressed the problem
- Probably because they’ve been too busy or it’s been too hard
- But now they’ve been reminded of the problem
- And they’ve realised they could cross the problem off their to-do list by dumping it on me
The result is that my friendly messages sometimes get transformed into timely pieces of marketing.
So why not commit to sending one random email or text per day to someone on your database?
