The only way to succeed is to play the long game. That means publishing quality content on a consistent and long-term basis.

Why? Because marketing is all about building trust, credibility and brand recognition – and you can’t build those things overnight. They take time to establish, and you do that by filling the bathtub one drop at a time. 

Don’t plan your marketing around the idea that it will have an instant impact, and you’ll get quick wins – as that won’t work. Instead, play the long game.
