That piece of wisdom from Leonardo Da Vinci should be a guiding principle when you’re creating content, such as:
- Blogs
- Emails
- Website text
- Ebooks
- Social media posts
- Videos
The simpler you make your content marketing, the easier it will be for people to understand, and thus the more likely it is that they will consume it.
Making things simple, though, is hard work – because it’s much easier to write verbose, complicated blogs than to write clear, concise blogs.
But it’s worth putting in the hard work, because simpler marketing is more sophisticated marketing.
