The rule suggests: 

  • 90% of people on a social network are just observers, doing nothing but lurking
  • 9% of people are a little bit more active; they like, share and comment on posts
  • But only 1% of people create content

Doing that will establish you as a trusted authority figure. And that will make people want to do business with you.
