That wonderful quote from Zig Ziglar gets to the heart of marketing.
When we do marketing, we’re trying to get people to trust us. Why? So they’ll do business with us.
But here’s the bad news: building trust takes time.
If you want potential customers and referral partners to trust you, you need to keep getting in front of them day after day after day, and you need to keep providing value day after day after day.
The more helpful, relevant and interesting marketing you send their way, the more they’ll trust you. And the more they trust you, the more they’ll do business with you.
