People are consuming your marketing without you realising it.

Every time you publish something on social media, the number of people who consume that content is probably 10 times greater than the number of people who like and comment on it.

In other words, for every one person who publicly identifies that they’ve consumed your content, another nine are lurking in the shadows.

Similarly, people are talking about you behind your back without you realising it.

You don’t know they’re doing it, because you’re not there, but they’re making comments about you, and those comments reflect the work you’ve been doing and the way you’ve been acting.

The moral to the story is to keep doing good things, even when you think no one is watching. Because they are – and they’re talking about it.
