People lead busy lives and have overflowing inboxes.

Instead, use action words (verbs) in your subject lines and include enticing information.

For example, a gym might say: “The top 5 ways to lose weight ahead of summer”. An accountant might say: “Great ways to save money ahead of tax time”.

The more enticing your subject lines, the more reason customers will have to open your email marketing.
