Here’s a simple tip to improve your listings – use more full-stops and fewer commas.

Good writers present one idea at a time. They present one idea – and then put a full-stop. They present a second idea – and then put a full-stop. They present a third idea – and then put a full-stop.

Bad writers present one idea, and then put a comma, and then a second idea, and another comma, and a third idea, and another comma, so their sentences go on forever.

Short sentences are easy to understand. Long sentences are hard to understand. More full-stops will make your listings easier to understand. And the easier you make your listings to understand, the more engagement you’ll get from buyers.
