If you want your customers to do multiple things, you need to ask for them one at a time.

If your marketing includes multiple calls-to-action, your customers will be confused and they won’t do anything.

If you send customer service emails that ask your customers to do multiple things, they’ll be confused and they won’t do any of them.

Your customers lead busy lives and have limited attention spans, so the harder it seems for them to follow your instructions, the less likely they are to do so.

So force yourself to ask for just one thing at a time. If you do that, you’ll get a better response from your customers.
