Here’s a surprisingly effective writing tip – embrace full-stops.
Good writers make it easy for readers to digest their ideas – and one way to do that is to present those ideas one at a time.
The way you do that is by making a point – and then inserting a full-stop.
Good writers love full-stops. Bad writers, though, will present an idea … and then put a comma at the end of the idea … and then present another idea … and then use another comma and present another idea.
That leads to long, rambling sentences with a jumble of ideas, which makes life hard for the reader.
