Some businesses get so excited by a sudden influx of customers that they think it means they no longer have to do marketing.

“We’re making all these sales now, so we no longer need to waste time and money on marketing.” 

But what they forget is that today’s sales were the result of yesterday’s marketing. 

Similarly, if you’re fit today, it’s not because you had a good meal today or did a good workout today; it’s because you had lots of good meals and workouts in the preceding months.

If you don’t do marketing today, you’re not going to get sales tomorrow.

You can’t turn marketing on and off like a tap. If you want to make consistent sales, you need to do consistent marketing.
