Should your small business be on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and every other social media channel?
No.
Your customers are on social media – so your business should also be on social media. But you don’t need to be on every channel – only those channels where most of your customers hang out.
If you want to know how active your customers are on a particular platform, see how much activity there is on each platform for your relevant industry hashtags.
That will tell you whether your customers are more likely to be on, say, LinkedIn or TikTok.
