The tactic is to insert urgency into your marketing.
Urgency solves two problems:
- Makes people focus on your marketing, instead of your rivals’ marketing
- Makes people take action now, instead of at some unknown point in the future
Just make sure you don’t resort to urgency too often or use it in an unethical way, otherwise your marketing will lose credibility.
