There are two big mistakes that small businesses make with their marketing.

The first mistake is trying to blend in with your rivals. The aim of marketing is to attract attention. But you don’t attract attention by looking like everyone else. You attract attention by standing out.

The second mistake is either not doing any marketing or not doing enough. More marketing equals more sales, so, ideally, small businesses should do marketing every single day.
